Francine McCormick was born, raised and is proud to be a true Washingtonian. She grew up in Eastern Washington and has a great love for all things natural to include rivers, streams, mountains, forest, plants and mushrooms. In addition, Francine has always had a passion and flair for things colorful in the world of art, painting, interior & landscape design.
Francine moved to the western side of the state in her early twenties, closer to her prized Mount Rainier, making this area her home. With a strong passion for gardening, Francine became a Master Gardner and has helped many people in their gardens. She became involved in the garden industry and trained to become a certified professional horticulturist.
With her many activities, Francine found her pace slowing down due to increasing pain throughout her body. Seeking answers from her Naturopath, she was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease in 2004. With the help of her doctor and a Physical Therapist, Francine began a tenacious walk towards recovery and better health. It took changes in diet, exercise, lots of outdoor time and a heavy dose of prescription medications to get her back to wellness. As part of her recovery, Francine found the power of drinking good tea. In her testimony she describes tea with these benefits: Tea flushes toxins out of the body helping the immunity system to heal the auto-immune disease. Tea also suppresses appetite which helps with weight loss, making movement easier. The combinations of all of these things eventually lead Francine to a place of better health.
Francine will always tell you that her recovery was supported and is sustained by her faith and the good Lord’s presence in her life.
