The pearl shapes softens the steeping, but the large quantity of buds provides some bright and energetic character to the traditional floral flavor.

These are the hight quality pearls. In China this particular style of pearls is referred to as “liang xun ti, which can be translated as “twice scented, one soaring / flying”. It is jasmine scented two times, each time followed by a light roasting. The roasting helps the leaf to absorb the jasmines aromatics. The third and final scenting uses a particularly high quality jasmine flower without any final roasting.
